The Senior IAM Developer is responsible for the development, design and implementation of IAM provisioning tool – SailPoint IdentityIQ. The developer is expected to work with rest of the IAM application developers under same management, both inhouse and contracted; also acts as liaison between Access Control Specialists, Business Analysts and the Business teams. The incumbent is reporting directly to the Manager of IAM Technology Support.

Job Responsibilities

• Leading Software Development for the IAM team, work with and assisting other inhouse or contracted developer(s) to fulfill business requirement in customizing IAM workflows for Enhancements, Fixes and PoCs in supporting of the SailPoint IdentityIQ IAM tool
• Follow process in documenting Changes using JIRA, GitHub and version control using Bitbucket etc.
• Familiar with Open Source Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) automation tool, e.g. Jenkins, will be an asset.
• Be flexible in supporting Project Go-Live and/or other critical IAM application implementation to production as required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience working in IT security related projects, access controls, identity and access management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, negotiation skills; ability to communicate proposed solutions effectively.
• University Degree (Bachelors) in Business or Computer Science or a similar field.
• Industry recognized Information Security designation (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIAM).

Preferred skills

• The incumbent should have fluent understanding of WebSphere environment and mastering of Java and XML coding.
• Strong leadership in the design and architecture of multiple concurrent projects under IAM Domain.
• Quick to pick up Business/Functional requirements to develop accurate technical specifications.
• Capable of writing quality codes meeting business expectation and security requirements in a timely manner.
• Great communication skills to work with Business Analyst & Quality Analyst in clarifying requirement to develop quality codes.
• Documenting updated workflows with development test cases successfully validated for user test and production support.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted.  It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.  In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.  Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
