Job Description

Edgerise is seeking a Business Data Analyst who will work closely with our clients and our client service team to provide IT support in assessing client business conditions and making data-based analysis to support client’s business interests in Canada. The individual will support our overall business operation through designing and developing, and testing of client data system, performing data analysis, and generating reports with meaningful assessment and recommendations.

Position: Business Data Analyst
Location: 104 Garment St., Kitchener, ON N2G 0C8
Position Type: Full-time (Permanent)
Wage: $40 – $45/hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with clients to comprehend their business backgrounds and investment interests;
• Identify and gather relevant client data, documents, and information
• Design, develop, and test client-specific data systems/models
• Engage in ongoing communication with clients to assess system designs and gather input for further refinement
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis, modeling, and interpretation
• Translate data into actionable insights tailored to results and recommendations for clients
• Support the overall IT system activities by providing advice regarding information system strategy, policy and management, security and service delivery; and, ensure system reliability and result accuracy through regular review, testing, and modification
• Assist in interpreting client-specific data and documentations

Qualifications:

• • A bachelor degree in relevant fields, such as computer science, business administration, information technology, or related discipline or completion of a college program
  • Certification or training in business analysis and financial system/technology
  • 1-2 years of experience in data analysis providing customized solutions for business operations and investments
  • Fluency in English

• SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
• Experience with Data Modeling, Data Mining, Data Transformation
• Working Knowledge with interpretating financial information and data from Asian countries would be an asset
• Exceptional organizational skills, time management and attention to details
• Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment to with tight deadlines
• Ability to collaborate well with others, and promote corporation and teamwork
• Ability to adapt to an evolving work environment and tolerate ambiguity
• Demonstrate high-level of critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work professionally with clients from a diverse community and/or individual backgrounds
