We are currently looking for a Manager, Marketing Technology to join our team to support the ongoing Digital transformation efforts at IGM Financial. This is a shared services role, supporting both IG Wealth Management and Mackenzie Investments’ digital marketing capabilities.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

Provide hands-on subject matter expertise to develop best in class responsive emails for ongoing campaigns

  • Drive the digital vision as it relates to IG Wealth Management Email Marketing technology and capabilities, as well as provide hands-on subject matter expertise (SME) for email development, personalization, through products integrated into the IG Wealth Management digital technology stack
  • Provide deep understanding of email marketing technology required to develop emails and A/B tests, including building and troubleshooting problems, if needed
  • Structure and build email marketing campaigns via Salesforce Marketing Cloud (using AMPscript, HTML 5 and CSS 3)
  • Responsible for email marketing management including planning, email building, testing, personalization, deployment and post-campaign analysis
  • Understand email requirements from the business team and translate them into Marketing Cloud email templates based on the content format and design template.
  • Develop and manage training and adoption of emails marketing tools and technology, including enhancements and data security
  • Troubleshoot any bugs or issues in the tool and work with the vendor and other teams for resolution

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing and email marketing experience
  • Proven experience in planning, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience testing and reviewing email builds and campaigns through tools like Litmus
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of HTML5 and CSS 3 to create a responsive email template that adheres to devices, dark modes, browsers etc.
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including AMPscript
  • Strong understanding of email best practices for design and workflow management, and ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns seamlessly and efficiently
  • Ability to produce and develop email templates with high level of attention and accuracy following all the specifications
  • Effective planning and organizational skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and deliver on multiple demands
  • Strong knowledge of email testing, accessibility, and deliverability practices
  • Experience with agile methodology
